The tough economic times we find ourselves in can affect anyone of any class, creed or race. Luckily individuals and companies like LDuncan Apparel find it in our hearts and in our closets to give back.
In the weeks leading up to the relaunch party, Laurell Duncan, CEO of LDuncan Apparel collected a full two-tier rack of women’s clothing ranging from size 2-18. At the party, Laurell recounted her younger years, “I remember shopping at the discount stores for clothes because that was all I could afford at the time. I wish someone had been there to help me then like Dress for Success helps so many women in similar positions.”
Because this is a personal mission, Laurell tasked her team with partnering with the Morris County Dress for Success affiliate to donate the clothes and to raise awareness of the organization. Volunteer members of Dress for Success’ Professional Women’s Group were on hand at the website relaunch party to share their own heartwarming experiences with the organization. Then LDuncan staff doubled as the ladies personal shoppers. The PWG volunteers were excited about the in-season fashions we were able to collect.
